Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Burt Smokebandit (ranked 2602 p4p, 278 weight class) and Drapton Heed (ranked 2634 p4p, 282 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Smokebandit gets cracked there but stands up to it.

It looks like Burt Smokebandit has been cut.
Heed misses the shot to the body.
A little feinted left hand from Smokebandit on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Smokebandit steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Heed.
Heed thuds a left hand into Smokebandit's body.
Smokebandit darts in looking for a takedown but Heed gets double underhooks and turns Smokebandit into the cage.
Heed misses with a looping right.
Heed fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Smokebandit throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A jab lands there for Smokebandit.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Smokebandit tries to move into range but Heed moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Heed waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Smokebandit.
Heed smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Oh Smokebandit is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Smokebandit ducks into an uppercut from Heed and that's knocked him out cold! This one is all over!
