Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sung Wo (ranked 3646 p4p, 393 weight class) and Luke Quincy (ranked 2776 p4p, 328 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Sung Wo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Luke Quincy!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Mauricio Rocha and Emerson Jorge.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wo has Quincy up against the cage in a clinch.
Wo tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Quincy just stands there and leans against the cage.
Quincy tries a knee to the head but Wo blocks it.
Wo is stalling here.
Quincy is pressed up against the cage. Wo has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Quincy down to the mat. Quincy avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Quincy fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Wo, pushing him back against the cage.

Wo really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Quincy manages to break the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Wo will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Wo regains full guard. Nicely done.
Wo is trying to keep Quincy in close.
Quincy wants to get up but he can't break Wo's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Quincy got a little sloppy there for a moment and Wo has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Quincy has managed to get both his arms back between Wo's legs - danger averted.
Quincy wants to get up but he can't break Wo's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Wo circles away from the clinch attempt.
Wo fails with a takedown attempt.

Quincy connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Wo momentarily.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Quincy just misses with a elbow thrown towards Wo's brow.
Quincy is trying to break the clinch but Wo has him pressed against the cage.

Wo looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Quincy lands a right hand that snaps the head of Wo backwards.

Wo tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Wo pulls Quincy in close to prevent any damage.

Wo looks for a takedown but Quincy sprawls well.
Sung Wo is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Wo looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Quincy looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Wo is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Quincy is just riding it out for now. Wo eventually gives up the hold.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Wo misses with a takedown attempt - Quincy sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Quincy gets tackled into the cage by Wo. Wo maintains the clinch.
Wo lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Quincy leaves Wo with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Luke Quincy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Quincy tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Wo manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Luke Quincy showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Wo shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Quincy counters with a stiff right hand.
Wo closes the distance and clinches up with Quincy, looking for a takedown. Wo pushes Quincy against the cage but Quincy circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Quincy looks to score with a jab to the body but Wo is just out of range.
Wo thinks about countering with a head kick.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

I've got Quincy winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
