Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kenta Ichigaya (ranked 4642 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyoto Nagawa (ranked 4638 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Ren Mimura and Taro Takaoka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ichigaya misses with a few strikes there.
Nagawa throws a head kick that half lands.

Ichigaya clinches.
Nagawa has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Ichigaya pulls guard effortlessly.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ichigaya looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Nagawa must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Ichigaya manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Nagawa manages to get himself to full guard.

Nagawa looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Ichigaya has picked Nagawa up and slammed him! Nagawa can't keep hold of the triangle and Ichigaya manages to pass to side control!
Nagawa is trying to get back to half guard.
Ichigaya postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Ichigaya tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Ichigaya has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Nagawa wants to control but Ichigaya postures up.
Nagawa tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Ichigaya easily slips into full mount!
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Ichigaya cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Nagawa is squirming around, avoiding Ichigaya's attempts to control the action.
Ichigaya lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Nagawa hang on?
Ichigaya controlling from mount.
Nagawa working to try and regain half guard.
Nagawa really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ichigaya. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Nagawa is in a horrible position here. Ichigaya smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Nagawa is desperately trying to improve his position but Ichigaya has a good base and remains in mount.
Ichigaya could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Nagawa is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Ichigaya is standing up, even though he is in mount.
Ichigaya tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Nagawa, right into the meat.
Nagawa goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ichigaya misses with a takedown attempt - Nagawa sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

and Nagawa counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Nagawa showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Ichigaya.
Nagawa avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Nagawa stuffs the takedown.

Nagawa tries to sprawl but Ichigaya drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Nagawa preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
Nagawa is looking to improve his position.

Nagawa is trying to control Ichigaya's posture. Ichigaya takes advantage of the lull and advances to side control. He also appears to have an arm triangle here! Uh oh, big trouble for Nagawa! Ichigaya is rotating here... this could be the end... Nagawa is out! Ichigaya has ended this one emphatically! Great submission!
