Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dartemis Bleak (ranked 3549 p4p, 307 weight class) and Daniel Kaspian (ranked 7133 p4p, 462 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kaspian misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bleak with a nice cross.
Kaspian connects with a leg kick. Bleak looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Kaspian tries to sprawl but Bleak drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Bleak has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Bleak working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bleak slips a nice elbow through Kaspian's hands, connecting with Kaspian's forehead.
Bleak is nestled in close to Kaspian, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Bleak lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Kaspian quite badly. Kaspian pulls Bleak in close trying to recover. Bleak postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Kaspian on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Kaspian doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
