Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 30 - 20 - 2, fighting out of Los Angeles, John Locke!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Roger De Santos!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Thiago Cunha and Emerson Jorge.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Santos finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
De Santos shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Locke uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
The fighters circling - De Santos throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Locke slips under a jab.
De Santos falls off balance throwing a combination
enabling Locke to counter with a crisp jab.
De Santos jabbing away but nothing is landing.
A lazy left from Locke finds it's target.
De Santos will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
De Santos fails to land with a series of punches.
Locke connects with the punch.
De Santos misses with an attempted mid kick.
De Santos throws a left and a right that both miss
and Locke counters with a big head kick but De Santos shrugs it off.
Roger De Santos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Locke looks to land a left hand but De Santos moved out of range nicely.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

De Santos gets tackled into the ropes by Locke. Locke maintains the clinch.
Locke throws a blind hook that connects with the side of De Santoss head.
De Santos working aggressively here.
Locke lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Locke breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

That's one minute gone in the round.
De Santos gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Locke.
De Santos throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Locke goes for a high kick. It partially lands.


De Santos is rocked!
De Santos tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
De Santos is still on wobbly legs! Can Locke finish him?
Locke throws a switch kick that catches De Santos on the top of the head and drops him to the canvas! De Santos looks hurt - I'm not sure he's going to get back up! The referee starts the count but calls it off at seven as De Santos flops around on the canvas, clearly in no position to continue! This fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). John Locke!
A victorious John Locke thanked his army of followers in his post fight interview, telling people to make sure they follow him on Twitter.
The defeated Roger De Santos had this to say: 'He is a great fighter and a very good man and he won fair and square but I will be back soon for my fans!'.
