The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice uppercut there from Elizondo.

It looks like Lalli Lallukka has been cut.
Elizondo dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Lallukka throws a head kick but Elizondo moves out of range.
Elizondo appears to be looking for a big counter.
Elizondo moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Elizondo cracks Lallukka with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Lallukka is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Lallukka is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9, he's up! Wow, he cut that one a bit fine!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Elizondo throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Lallukka crumples to the floor and the fight is over!

During a confident post fight interview, Gaizka Elizondo thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
