Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Joshua Pryce (ranked 1559 p4p, 206 weight class) and Lars Kraulthammer (ranked 24538 p4p, 558 weight class). Lars Kraulthammer is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kraulthammer dodges the punch combination from Pryce.
Pryce swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Kraulthammer.
Pryce slaps away a takedown attempt from Kraulthammer, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Pryce clobbers Kraulthammer with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

It looks like Lars Kraulthammer has been cut.
Pryce cracks Kraulthammer with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Kraulthammer shoots in and gets a takedown into Pryce's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kraulthammer stands up over Pryce, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
My spies in St Petersburg MMA Gym inform me that Kraulthammer has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Kraulthammer has his foot on Pryce's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Pryce works his way back into a safe position though.

Kraulthammer is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Kraulthammer uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Kraulthammer shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Pryce pinned against the cage. Pryce gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
A jab from Pryce finds it's way through Kraulthammer's defenses.

Kraulthammer dives in for a single leg takedown but Pryce sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Joshua Pryce has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lars Kraulthammer.
Pryce cracks Kraulthammer with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Oooooh!!! Pryce has knocked Kraulthammer down with a huge combo! Pryce steps away and waves a wobbly Kraulthammer back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Pryce rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kraulthammer moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Kraulthammer shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Pryce tries to counter with a takedown but Kraulthammer is quick to defend against it.
A decent looking cross lands there for Pryce.

Kraulthammer rushes Pryce and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Pryce is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Kraulthammer is trying to trip Pryce. He has hold of a leg but Pryce is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Kraulthammer persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Kraulthammer drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Pryce defends it well.

Pryce sends Kraulthammer crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Pryce is motioning to the referee to let Kraulthammer up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Pryce cracks Kraulthammer with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Kraulthammer falls to his knees and Pryce doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
