Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Karl Henriksen (ranked 1222 p4p, 149 weight class) and Kyle Lewis (ranked 1842 p4p, 215 weight class). Henriksen kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is OST Vikings - If I Had a Heart. Lewis has chosen DMX - Slippin as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Karl Henriksen had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lewis throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Lewis looks to land a right hand but Henriksen moved out of range.
An attempted straight right counter from Henriksen misses the target.
Lewis has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Henriksen is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Lewis throws a series of punches but Henriksen avoids them all with ease.
Henriksen looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

and Henriksen counters with a stiff right hand.

Lewis rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Henriksen moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Lewis looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Lewis lands with a hook. Henriksen tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Lewis misses with an uppercut. Henriksen saw that one coming.

Henriksen thows a body kick. Lewis tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Henriksen slips a jab from Lewis.
Lewis shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Henriksen counters with a big head kick but Lewis shrugs it off.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Lewis shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
