And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Ian Loll and Steve Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rockatansky misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Rockatansky rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Smith moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Rockatansky tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Rockatansky throws a right and a left that Smith avoids nicely.
Smith tries to counter with a clinch but Rockatansky shakes him off and moves away.
Smith shoots for a double leg takedown but Rockatansky sprawls well. He's pushed Smith's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Smith has Rockatansky up against the cage in a clinch.
Smith fails to pull guard.
Rockatansky tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Rockatansky lands on the inside with an uppercut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Smith's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Smith shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Rockatansky as he avoids it easily.
Maximilian Rockatansky has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Don Smith.
Rockatansky tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Smith manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Smith fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Rockatansky avoids it really well and circles away.

Rockatansky tries to bum rush Smith with a series of wild strikes but Smith uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Smith tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Rockatansky throws a series of punches but Smith moves out of range.
Smith tries to clinch but Rockatansky moves out of range.

Rockatansky looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Smith manages to escape and get back to his feet!

and Smith counters with a low kick, right behind Rockatansky 's knee.

and Smith counters with a left and a right that stings Rockatansky.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Smith shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Rockatansky defends it nicely.
Maximilian Rockatansky seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rockatansky lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Smith can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Rockatansky and Smith drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Rockatansky.
