The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moker scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Shadow doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Moker counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
No luck for Shadow with that takedown attempt.
Shadow shoots and misses
and Moker counters with a stiff right hand.
Brendan Moker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chief Shadow.

Chief Shadow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Shadow has momentary wrist control but Moker slips an elbow through the middle.

Shadow has his foot on Moker's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Moker works his way back into a safe position though.
Moker knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Shadow on the ground.
Shadow tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Moker wants to control from the top but Shadow keeps moving.

Moker has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Moker got a little sloppy there for a moment and Shadow has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Moker has managed to get both his arms back between Shadow's legs - danger averted.

Moker is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Shadow has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Moker is looking to defend but Shadow has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Moker! Shadow pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Moker taps out and this one is all over!
