Coming up we have a heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Fletch Brandis (ranked 2833 p4p, 273 weight class) and Pele Ronaldo (ranked 4341 p4p, 366 weight class). Brandis comes to the ring accompanied by Lynyrd Skynyrd : The Ballad of Curtis Loew. Fletch Brandis had a look across the ring there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Percy O'Donnell and Frank Antenori.


The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

We've been hearing good reports from Brandis's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Ronaldo quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Brandis has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Ronaldo celebrates on the ropes, with the crowd.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 9:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Pele Ronaldo!
A relieved looking Pele Ronaldo thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
