Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yoshihiro Nakajima!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yukihiro Shimada and Hirohito Nitta.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sutton gets tackled into the cage by Nakajima. Nakajima maintains the clinch.

Nakajima has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Sutton is trying to keep an underhook but Nakajima manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Nakajima throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Sutton because Nakajima loaded up on that one.

Let's hope that Nakajima has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Nakajima is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Sutton has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Sutton really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Nakajima jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Sutton manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Nakajima remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Nakajima tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Nakajima creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Sutton sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Sutton is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Well Nakajima has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
