Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jon Erikson (ranked 1819 p4p, 205 weight class) and Drederick Tatum (ranked 1629 p4p, 190 weight class). Erikson comes to the cage accompanied by Gåte - Statt Opp. Drederick Tatum acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jon Erikson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Drederick Tatum!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Erikson connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Erikson tries a head kick but it misses.
Erikson smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Tatum gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Tatum takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Tatum lands a body shot.
Tatum swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Erikson ducks under a wild hook from Tatum.
Tatum throws an off balance right hand
and Erikson counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Erikson.
Erikson prevents Tatum from breaking the clinch.
Tatum lands a shoulder strike.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Erikson lands a right hand.
Erikson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Erikson tries to clinch there but Tatum circles away.
Tatum tries to bum rush Erikson with a series of wild strikes but Erikson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Erikson throws a head kick that misses.
Erikson dips to his left and cracks Tatum with an uppercut!
Erikson fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Tatum has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Erikson misses with a low kick.
A countering left hand to the body from Tatum misses.
Tatum misses with an uppercut
enabling Erikson to counter with a crisp jab.
Tatum is rocked!
Erikson finds Tatum's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Tatum flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Erikson lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Tatum will be OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jon Erikson!
