Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sufyan Amin (ranked 3512 p4p, 0 weight class) and Motu Te Tai (ranked 3105 p4p, 0 weight class). Amin has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Motu Te Tai has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sufyan Amin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 6 - 1, fighting out of New York, Motu Te Tai!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Columbo Gatti and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Te Tai gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Amin to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Amin lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Amin distracts Te Tai with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Amin has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Amin accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Te Tai wants to stand but Amin is controlling the position.
Amin connects with a couple of short punches.

Amin stops Te Tai from standing up.

Te Tai is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Te Tai wants to get back to his feet but Amin is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Te Tai has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Amin is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

Amin works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Te Tai has momentary wrist control but Amin slips an elbow through the middle.
Amin stops Te Tai from standing up.
Amin scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Te Tai is rocked!

Amin arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Te Tai's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!

Our winner, Sufyan Amin, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
