Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jacinto Sloan (ranked 6246 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edson Arantes (ranked 7123 p4p, 0 weight class). Arantes has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloan swinging wildly here.
Arantes looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Sloan shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Arantes as he jumps to the side.
Arantes lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

Arantes tries to kick Sloan off in order to stand up. Sloan Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

Arantes is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Sloan has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Sloan lands a punch to the side of the head from the back.

Arantes is rocked!
Sloan lands strikes from the back and Arantes isn't doing enough to escape the position. The referee steps in to end the fight.
