Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Owain Jones (ranked 2941 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rico Pimble (ranked 6420 p4p, 0 weight class). Rico Pimble told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pimble forces Jones back against the cage and clinches.
Jones's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Jones is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Pimble throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

It looks like Owain Jones has been cut.

Jones manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
