Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dikanais Didzinieks (ranked 4200 p4p, 415 weight class) and Nick Cramer (ranked 4505 p4p, 433 weight class). Cramer has chosen Enter Sandman as his entrance music. Nick Cramer has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Dikanais Didzinieks's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dikanais Didzinieks!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Nick Cramer!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Chris Downing and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Didzinieks shoots in but no luck this time.

Didzinieks gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Cramer gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Didzinieks regains guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Cramer closes the distance and clinches.

Cramer is trying to trip Didzinieks. He has hold of a leg but Didzinieks is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Cramer persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Didzinieks is looking to control Cramer's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Didzinieks avoid being mounted?
Cramer is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Didzinieks is pressing down on Cramer's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Didzinieks ducks under a wild hook from Cramer.

Cramer has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Didzinieks is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Didzinieks is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Cramer dives into side control.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Cramer can do anything to dispel that myth.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Didzinieks takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Didzinieks really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Didzinieks really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Cramer.
Didzinieks will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

I really don't envy Cramer right now.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Cramer has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Didzinieks after a bit of a struggle.

Cramer wants to counter the offense by Didzinieks and move into the clinch position.

Didzinieks looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Cramer is fending him off so far but Didzinieks persists. Nope, Cramer circles away and we're back to standing.

Cramer has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Didzinieks regains guard immediately.

Didzinieks has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Cramer can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

I think Cramer has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

After the fight, Nick Cramer was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
