The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roughneck swings for the body but Ragnarsdotter moves out of range.
Roughneck misses with a takedown attempt - Ragnarsdotter sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Roughneck takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Roughneck misses with a low kick.
Ragnarsdotter takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Ragnarsdotter throws a big shot that misses.
Ragnarsdotter takes a body punch but keeps moving.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Ragnarsdotter checks a leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ragnarsdotter lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Roughneck circles away quickly and effectively.
Roughneck takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Ragnarsdotter shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Roughneck eats them both and turns towards Ragnarsdotter to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Roughneck shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Ragnarsdotter is trying to defend but Roughneck finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Ragnarsdotter pushes Roughneck off but Roughneck dives into side control.

Ragnarsdotter is looking to reverse the position.

Roughneck is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Ragnarsdotter is trying to escape and Roughneck transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Ragnarsdotter is forced to tap! Nice work there by Roughneck! Very nice indeed!
