Coming up we have a lightweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Fallschirm J�ger (ranked 1868 p4p, 218 weight class) and Feihck Tiote (ranked 2010 p4p, 235 weight class). J�ger comes into the arena with For Heavy Metal we will die! blaring out of the sound system. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 8 wins and 3 losses; Fallschirm J�ger! And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 0 losses; Feihck Tiote! The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. J�ger is looking to clinch but Tiote is avoiding it.
Tiote changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

Tiote throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! J�ger escapes and throws Tiote's legs to the side, diving into side control! J�ger is keen to just control but Tiote is a slippery customer.

Tiote swivels though and keeps the full guard. Tiote has control of J�ger's left arm, preventing J�ger from doing any damage. Tiote looking to control but J�ger passes into half guard.

Tiote is pressing down on J�ger's thigh, looking to free his foot. J�ger is holding on for now. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Tiote is trying to control the action in half guard but J�ger is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Tiote performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
And that's the end of the fight! J�ger takes the fight on points by 12 to 6. After the fight, Fallschirm J�ger was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly. |
