Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Theodore Nouveau (ranked 3101 p4p, 149 weight class) and Zhang Jun (ranked 2500 p4p, 129 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Theodore Nouveau!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Zhang Jun!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jun moves into the clinch successfully.

Jun's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Jun looks to land a combination but Nouveau avoids it well.
Nouveau throws a sloppy head kick

and Jun counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Jun.
Nouveau is trying to control the position but Jun postures up.
Nouveau will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Jun with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Nouveau wants to sweep here but Jun controlling him for the moment.

Oh Nouveau is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jun advances position into side control!
Jun lands some shots froms side control.

Jun sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Nouveau is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Jun has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
You can see the frustration on Nouveau's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Nouveau is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
Jun tries to score with some ground and pound. Nouveau controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
