The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Kapral connects with a nice short shot to Buckley's temple.


It looks like Perry Buckley has been cut.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Buckley is looking to control Kapral's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Buckley avoid being mounted?

Kapral got a little sloppy there for a moment and Buckley has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kapral has managed to get both his arms back between Buckley's legs - danger averted.

Buckley decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Kapral, up you get!

Buckley isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Kapral stacks Buckley on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Kapral!
Kapral really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Buckley. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Buckley is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Kapral off and has taken his back!
Buckley is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

Buckley lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Buckley.

Kapral is trying to remain composed but Buckley is hammering down strikes to the side of his head.

You can see the frustration on Kapral's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
