Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Clifton Justice!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Colby Cuntington!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Justice gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Cuntington to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cuntington wants to control from the top but Justice keeps moving.
Justice not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Justice wants to sweep but no luck.
Justice really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Cuntington trying to control but Justice is working from the bottom.
Justice is trying to control the position but Cuntington postures up.
Justice keeping moving, preventing Cuntington from controlling successfully.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Justice has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Cuntington is working away from the top position though.

Cuntington is trying to control. Justice wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Cuntington content to control rather than advance.
It looks like Cuntington might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Cuntington is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Cuntington is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Justice manages to get to full guard.

Cuntington is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Justice seems keen to control Cuntington's posture.

Cuntington gets to his feet. Justice looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Cuntington moves into range and clinches up with Justice.
Cuntington jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Justice walks away with a smile on his face. Cuntington gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Justice darts in looking for a takedown but Cuntington gets double underhooks and turns Justice into the cage.

Cuntington is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Justice's half guard.
Justice makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Justice.

Justice is trying to control the position but Cuntington postures up.

Cuntington decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Cuntington shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Cuntington fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Clifton Justice has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Colby Cuntington.
Justice misses with a takedown attempt - Cuntington sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Cuntington throws a quick inside leg kick.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Cuntington lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Justice or not.

Justice manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Justice throws a head punch that misses.
Cuntington is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Cuntington tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Justice smiles and moves away.
Clifton Justice has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Colby Cuntington.
Cuntington tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Justice swivels and escapes.
Justice appears to be looking for a big counter.

Cuntington scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Cuntington advances to mount.
Justice really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

Cuntington controlling from mount.
Cuntington tries to control but Justice wriggling away.
Justice keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Cuntington has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Cuntington working the ground and pound effectively.

Cuntington jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Justice is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Justice and Cuntington has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Justice is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are battling for position here. Justice manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Justice has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Cuntington doesn't defend quickly enough and Justice has managed to lock this one up! Can Cuntington escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Justice on a fantastic submission victory.
