The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brophy scores with a jab. Tor Silachai acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Tor Silachai connects with a body shot.
Tor Silachai misses the shot to the body.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Brophy's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Tor Silachai misses with a straight left.
Brophy half committed to a counter leg kick.
Brophy avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

and Brophy counters with a nice kick to the body.
The crowd cheers as Brophy lands an impressive looking overhand right. Tor Silachai doesn't seem phased though.

Brophy stuns Tor Silachai with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Brophy feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Tor Silachais jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Brophy throws a leg kick
and Tor Silachai cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Brophy throws a nice outside leg kick.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Brophy! Tor Silachai is out on his feet! Brophy rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Tor Silachai is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Tor Silachai is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bob Brophy!
During a confident post fight interview, Bob Brophy thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
