Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Lou da Vinci and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Botashev takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Botashev displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Richardson.
Richardson connects with an inside leg kick.
Richardson tries to clinch there but Botashev circles away.
Botashev shoots in and bounces Richardson off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Richardson is trying to control the position but Botashev postures up.
Botashev postures up and lands a big shot to Richardson's brow.
Botashev throwing strikes from guard but Richardson blocks nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Botashev landing with the ground and pound.
Botashev distracts Richardson with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Richardson is rocked!
Botashev keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Richardson's head.
Oh Richardson is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Botashev lands a couple of elbows.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Botashev loads up on a big left hand. Richardson felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Botashev looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Richardson can't hide his disappointment, as Botashev celebrates the victory.
