The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arcidiacono looks for a takedown but Sajid sprawls well.
Arcidiacono tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Sajid defends well and Arcidiacono ends up having to push Sajid into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Sajid tries to counter with a takedown but Arcidiacono is quick to defend against it.

Sajid shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Arcidiacono's guard.
Arcidiacono looking for a sweep. Not yet Arcidiacono, not yet.
Sajid is pushing down on Arcidiacono's leg trying to pass to half guard. Arcidiacono is fighting to maintain full guard but Sajid has managed to sneak the leg through.
Sajid prevents Arcidiacono from improving his position.

Sajid is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Arcidiacono is just riding it out for now. Sajid eventually gives up the hold.
Arcidiacono tries to get to full guard but Sajid has control of the leg.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sajid has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Arcidiacono defend it? Sajid steps over the head and cranks it - Arcidiacono is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Sajid!
