Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Goji Kano (ranked 2744 p4p, 260 weight class) and Azriel Pandens (ranked 1519 p4p, 172 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Azriel Pandens!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kano goes for a double leg but Pandens avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Pandens continues to drive forward.
A left lands for Pandens.
Kano shoots in but no luck this time.
Kano fails with the takedown
and Pandens counters with a lovely straight right hand!
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Goji Kano. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A slapping leg kick lands for Pandens.
Kano walks into a left hand.
A shot to the liver by Pandens. Beautiful body shot.
Donk. Pandens catches Kano right on the button with a cross.
Goji Kano seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pandens lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Kano at a distance.
Kano misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Pandens paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A nice inside leg kick there by Pandens. That's going to slow Kano down.
Kano shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Pandens catches Kano with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Kano shoots in but Pandens avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Pandens cracks Kano with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Pandens scoring well with a low kick there.
Oh Kano is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kano sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Pandens drops Kano with a big left hand! Kano is injured, injured bad! Pandens jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!

Azriel Pandens is the new featherweight champion!
Azriel Pandens decided to call for a title shot in his post fight interview, which was very strange given the fact this fight was for a title and he's already the champion. I guess that's what getting punched in the head does for you.
