Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between King Gonawyn (ranked 2998 p4p, 0 weight class) and Super Man (ranked 3962 p4p, 363 weight class). Super Man has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Man will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Gonawyn feinted with a counter takedown.
Gonawyn chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Man can pounce on him.

Man clinches.
Gonawyn is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Man pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Man prevents the takedown attempt.
Gonawyn wants a takedown but no success here.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Man seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Man misses with a head shot. Gonawyn uses the momentum to regain guard.

Man's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Gonawyn has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Man.

As Man tries to get set, Gonawyn tries to push him back and clinch up but Man manages to avoid the attempt.

Gonawyn on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Man is trying to trip Gonawyn. He has hold of a leg but Gonawyn is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Man persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Gonawyn seems a little lost for a moment, as Man dominates the positioning.
Super Man has got the better of the ground game so far.
Man scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Gonawyn to see if he's OK.

Gonawyn is trying to escape the position but Man is controlling the position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

King Gonawyn has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Well Man has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
