Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vlad Darko (ranked 1263 p4p, 168 weight class) and Marvin Vettori (ranked 1400 p4p, 187 weight class). Darko kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Ominous Drumming. Vettori has chosen Police On My Back- The Rocketz as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

16 - 8 - 1, fighting out of New York, Marvin Vettori!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vettori cracks Darko with a right hand to the side of the head.
Vettori takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Vettori connects with a good right hand that stumbles Darko. Darko circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Darko connects with a looping right hand.
Nice body kick from Darko.
Vettori misses with a right hand
and Darko counters with a nice uppercut.
Darko definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
A nice inside leg kick there by Darko. That's going to slow Vettori down.
Darko scoring well with a low kick there.
An inside leg kick lands from Darko.
Darko cracks the inside of Vettori's front leg.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Darko connects with a solid leg kick.
Vettori misses with a looping right.
A swing and a miss from Vettori.
Darko is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Vettori throws a series of punches but Darko moves out of range.
Vettori scores with a decent looking hook.
Darko scores with a nice right hand.
Darko lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Vettori tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Darko lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Vettori has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Vettori and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A clash of legs there as Vettori blocks the low kick.
Vettori misses with an uppercut.
Darko tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Darko throws a head kick but Vettori moves out of range.
Marvin Vettori seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Good leg kick by Darko there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Some bone on bone action there as Vettori checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Vettori lands a glancing blow to the side of Darko's head.
Vettori's jab looks to have found its range, popping Darko under the eye.
Vettori connects with a high kick.
Darko is rocked!
Darko ducks under a wild hook from Vettori.
Darko misses with an uppercut. Vettori saw that one coming.
A little jabbing left from Vettori on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Darko looks up at the clock. Bad move! Vettori lands a right hand from hell, dropping Darko. Vettori pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Marvin Vettori!
A relieved looking Marvin Vettori thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
