Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Karl Henriksen (ranked 2345 p4p, 294 weight class) and Benedicte Swanson (ranked 3723 p4p, 0 weight class). Henriksen's entrance music is OST Vikings - If I Had a Heart. A fine choice. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Karl Henriksen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Benedicte Swanson!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Saam Ante and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick from Swanson lands but Henriksen takes it in his stride.
Swanson lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Swanson scores with a kick to the midsection.
Swanson throws the kick towards the body but Henriksen avoids it.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Henriksen tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Swanson smiles and moves away.
Henriksen doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Swanson lands a nice shot to the body.
Swanson throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Henriksen takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Swanson keeps Henriksen at a distance using the push kick.
Swanson scores with a sloppy right hand. Henriksen should have avoided that one.
Henriksen on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Swanson. Swanson obviously looking to wear him down.
Swanson lands a glancing blow to the side of Henriksen's head.
Swanson lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Swanson fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Henriksen.
Henriksen on the wrong end of a kick to the body.

Henriksen takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Swanson lands a nice hook to Henriksen's body. Henriksen takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Henriksen is breathing heavily.
A combination from Swanson does no damage.
Henriksen changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Swanson jabs at Henriksen's body.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Swanson.
Benedicte Swanson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Swanson scores with a nice head shot.
Swanson thows a body kick. Henriksen tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Swanson cracks the inside of Henriksen's front leg.

Good leg kick by Swanson there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Swanson fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Swanson lands with a shot to the body.
Henriksen moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Swanson lands a big head kick that sends Henriksen tumbling to the mat! Swanson takes a step backwards and waves Henriksen back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Henriksen is rocked!
Henriksen is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Henriksen tries to close the distance and clinch up but Swanson swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A nice inside leg kick there by Swanson. That's going to slow Henriksen down.
Swanson connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Henriksen momentarily.
Swanson has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
Swanson swats away the attempt to clinch by Henriksen.
Swanson thumps Henriksen with a low kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Swanson lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Swanson lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Swanson changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Crunch! Swanson slams his shin into Henriksen's torso.
Swanson feints and then cracks Henriksen's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Henriksen down.
Donk. Swanson catches Henriksen right on the button with a cross.
Swanson connects with a jab.
Swanson lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Henriksen walks forward, straight into a front kick from Swanson.
Henriksen looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Henriksen sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Henriksen on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Benedicte Swanson dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Swanson paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Swanson connects with a solid leg kick.
Benedicte Swanson seems to be getting the better of the standup.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Henriksen crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Swanson - the referee stops the clock and Henriksen gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Swanson. Henriksen manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Swanson throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Crunch! Swanson slams his shin into Henriksen's torso.
Swanson cracks Henriksen with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Swanson looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Swanson lands a right hook to the body.
Swanson paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Henriksen tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Swanson counters with a body kick.
Swanson dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Henriksen. That did some damage!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Swanson.
Henriksen's legs have taken a beating and he's really slowing down as a result.
A left lands for Swanson.
Swanson has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Swanson lands a leg kick that knocks Henriksen off balance momentarily.
Swanson digs a good body shot into Henriksen's ribs.
Henriksen will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.
A solid leg kick lands there for Swanson.
Swanson dips to his left and cracks Henriksen with an uppercut!
A thudding body kick lands there by Swanson!
Henriksen takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Swanson throws a quick inside leg kick.
Swanson moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Swanson and Henriksen are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Swanson throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Henriksen into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Swanson knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Benedicte Swanson!
A less than humble Benedicte Swanson misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
