The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Padilla shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Alexei as he avoids it easily.
Padilla slips a jab and a cross from Alexei.
Padilla appears to be looking for a counter takedown.

Alexei moves into the clinch.
A shot in the inside from Alexei.

Padilla successfully pulls guard.
Alexei wants to control from the top but Padilla keeps moving.
Alexei scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

It looks like Rick Padilla has been cut.
Alexei won't allow Padilla to get back to his feet.
Alexei is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Alexei makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Alexei passes Padilla's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Alexei moves into full mount! Padilla won't be happy about that!
Alexei postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Padilla badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Alexei around the waist but Alexei pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Alexei is the winner by TKO! Alexei jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
