Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lazarus Slade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Heston Butcher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Heston Butcher struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 187.1lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Butcher is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Slade gets the takedown into side control.
Butcher really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Slade. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Slade wants to lay and pray for a moment but Butcher keeps working.
Slade will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Slade is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Butcher is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Slade thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
