Mcgregor has chosen Rammstein - Deutschland as his entrance music. Habib Mcgregor is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Richard tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mcgregor swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Mcgregor shapes to counter with a head kick.
Richard wants to clinch up but Mcgregor keeps it at a distance.

Mcgregor is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Richard wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mcgregor keeps working.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Richard manages to get to his feet, escaping the difficult position.

Mcgregor is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Richard can't fight it off and eventually Mcgregor manages to take the fight to the floor. Richard looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Patricia Richard overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
