Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ferdinand Marquez (ranked 2741 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reinaldo Araujo (ranked 3381 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Reinaldo Araujo was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marquez throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Marquez throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Araujo.
Araujo tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Marquez paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Marquez looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Araujo tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Marquez manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Marquez swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Marquez really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Marquez throws a nice looking combination but Araujo bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Araujo throws a solid leg kick but Marquez takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Araujo.
The fight stays on the outside here - Araujo looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Araujo throws a series of punches but Marquez avoids them all with ease.

Marquez dances in with a quick combination. Araujo is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Marquez snaps Araujo's head back. Araujo stumbles backwards against the cage. Marquez steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Araujo's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Araujo just didn't come prepared.
