Slithers jumps guard but Smith stands there with Slithers around his waist. Slithers gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
A nice right hand lands inside from Smith.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Slithers is trying to maintain a safe position but Smith gets an underhook and turns Slithers into the cage.

Slithers fails to pull guard.
Chad Smith has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Seth Slithers.
Smith lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Slithers backwards.
Slithers is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Smith working some nice short punches in the clinch.

Smith stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Slithers tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Smith just stands there and leans against the cage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Smith pulls back and lands a big elbow that stuns Slithers! Smith unloads with more strikes and Slithers sinks to his knees! This one is all over!
