Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Xande Moreno (ranked 20621 p4p, 551 weight class) and Brandon Walker (ranked 3740 p4p, 391 weight class). Brandon Walker is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Brandon Walker!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Tiny Johnson and Wesley Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moreno connects with a single shot there.
Walker ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Moreno moves away.
Moreno tried to counter with a leg kick but Walker avoided it.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Walker, as that shot connected.
Walker slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Walker throws a body punch but Moreno moves out of range.
Brandon Walker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Walker uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Moreno.
A swing and a miss from Walker.
Walker feints and then cracks Moreno's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Moreno down.
Walker cracks the inside of Moreno's front leg.
Moreno checks a leg kick nicely.
Moreno throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
We've been told by Moreno's head coaches at Panda Sprawl n Brawl that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Moreno misses with a straight left.
Moreno takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Moreno slips a jab from Walker.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Moreno cracks Walker with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Moreno fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Moreno throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Walker misses with a wild combination.
Moreno swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Walker dodges the punch combination from Moreno.
Walker misses with a left hand
and Moreno cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Walker shoots in for a takedown but Moreno shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Walker wants to clinch up but Moreno keeps it at a distance.

Walker bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Walker shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Walker showed some decent athleticism there.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Moreno moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Walker postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Walker postures up in Moreno's guard and throws a big left but Moreno blocks it.
Moreno utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Walker accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Walker stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Moreno swivels though and keeps the full guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Walker fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Moreno manages to avoid it.
Moreno fires out a quick counter leg kick but Walker just manages to avoid it.
Walker tries a head kick but it misses.
Moreno went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Walker steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Moreno.

Walker manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Moreno on his heels. He'll look to pass Moreno's guard now, I'm sure.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Walker throws the left hand but Moreno avoids the punch easily.
Moreno slaps away a takedown attempt from Walker, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Xande Moreno is winning the standup battle so far.
Moreno lunges at Walker with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Walker's hand.

It looks like Brandon Walker has been cut.
Walker throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Moreno avoids the body shot from Walker.
Moreno throwing a counter right hand but Walker manages to avoid it.
Moreno lands a big head kick that sends Walker to the canvas! Moreno follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
