Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Dobson (ranked 1428 p4p, 70 weight class) and Alf Konrad (ranked 1356 p4p, 65 weight class). Dobson comes to the cage accompanied by Mans not hot- big shaq. Alf Konrad will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Michael Dobson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
9 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alf Konrad!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Vladimir Khabensky and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dobson is looking to clinch.
Dobson has taken the fight to the clinch.
Konrad is trying to break free.
Dobson goes for a takedown attempt but Konrad pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Konrad throws a good cross that connects.
Dobson looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Dobson fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Konrad, pushing him back against the cage.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Konrad lands a shot to the body.
Dobson cracks Konrad with a nice body shot.
Dobson drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Konrad gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Dobson has had enough of the clinch but Konrad keeps him there for the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Dobson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Konrad cracks Dobson with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Konrad has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Dobson to stand back up!
Dobson is rocked!
It looks like Michael Dobson has been cut.
Konrad flashes Dobson a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Dobson's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Dobson crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Konrad punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Alf Konrad!
A relieved looking Alf Konrad thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
Michael Dobson was interviewed post fight and said 'Oh bugger all!'.
