The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Doolittle closes the distance and clinches.

Doolittle's coach down at Pablo's Boxing Academy was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Doolittle's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Adams lands with a hook. Doolittle tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Adams connects with a beautiful left hand that drops Doolittle onto his butt! Doolittle bounces straight back up though - he's OK. After the ref checks him out, we're back to the action.

Doolittle lands a good knee to the midsection. Adams won't want to take too many of those.

Adams plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Doolittle to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Doolittle just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!
