Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dandy Bigglesworth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juan Takashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dandy Bigglesworth!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Juan Takashi!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Anthony Taglia and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Takashi misses.
Bigglesworth bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Takashi! He dives into his guard looking to finish!


Takashi is rocked!
Bigglesworth is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Takashi is still in real trouble! Can Bigglesworth finish him?
Bigglesworth cracks Takashi with a solid left hand.
Takashi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bigglesworth. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Bigglesworth postures up in Takashi's guard and throws a big left but Takashi blocks it.
Takashi seems to have recovered his senses.

Bigglesworth drops back looking for a leg! Takashi is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Takashi manages to kick Bigglesworth off! Bigglesworth jumps back into Takashi's guard.

Takashi utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Bigglesworth has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Bigglesworth thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Bigglesworth drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bigglesworth jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Takashi is looking to clinch.
Takashi throws a nice looking combination but Bigglesworth bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Bigglesworth.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
A bone on bone clash there as Bigglesworth blocks the leg kick.
Juan Takashi is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Bigglesworth throws out a loose jab but Takashi uses good head movement to avoid it.
Nice takedown defense from Takashi. No joy for Bigglesworth on that attempt.

Takashi buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Bigglesworth swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Takashi throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Bigglesworth doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Takashi moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Bigglesworth is looking to wear down Takashi with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Takashi throws a series of punches but Bigglesworth moves out of range.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bigglesworth bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Takashi's guard.
Bigglesworth postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Bigglesworth postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Takashi looks a forlorn figure.

Takashi tries to hold on but Bigglesworth pushes him away.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Bigglesworth's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Takashi rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bigglesworth moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Takashi is breathing heavily.
Bigglesworth throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Bigglesworth has managed to clinch.
Bigglesworth lands a shoulder strike.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!


Takashi pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Takashi swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Bigglesworth scores with a counter punch that sends Takashi to the canvas! Bigglesworth smells blood - he's punishing Takashi with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Takashi has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:08 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dandy Bigglesworth!
