The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sanders tries to keep at a distance but Araujo has taken the fight into the clinch.
Sanders is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Araujo misses with a knee strike.
Sanders is trying to force a seperation but Araujo has the dominant position.
Araujo tries for a takedown but Sanders manages to get underhooks.
Sanders stops a takedown attempt from Araujo.
Jaxon Sanders has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Reinaldo Araujo.
Araujo has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Sanders after a bit of a struggle.
Sanders wants to break free but Araujo has control.
Araujo has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Sanders is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Araujo breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Sanders goes for a double leg but Araujo avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Araujo continues to drive forward.

Sanders gets tackled into the cage by Araujo. Araujo maintains the clinch.

Sanders jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Araujo walks away with a smile on his face. Sanders gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Araujo's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Sanders tries to keep at a distance but Araujo has taken the fight into the clinch.

Araujo breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Araujo blocks the body kick.
Araujo looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Reinaldo Araujo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Araujo moves into range and clinches up with Sanders.
Sanders is pressed up against the cage. Araujo has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Sanders down to the mat. Sanders avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Sanders lands a head kick!
Sanders tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Sanders is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Araujo is trying to counter with his kicks.

Araujo slaps away a takedown attempt from Sanders, before circling back to the center of the mat.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sanders darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Sanders tries to close the distance and clinch but Araujo swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Araujo pivots, looking for a leg kick but Sanders is out of range and Araujo settles back down.
Araujo misses with an uppercut. Sanders saw that one coming.
Sanders shoots in looking for a takedown but Araujo manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Sanders's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
An inside leg kick lands from Araujo.
Sanders looks to land a combination but Araujo avoids it well.
Araujo avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
As Sanders backs off Araujo throws a huge counter combo but Sanders manages to avoid it all.

Araujo drops down looking for an ankle pick but Sanders pulls his leg out and moves away.
Sanders dives in for a single leg takedown but Araujo sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

As Araujo looks to move away, Sanders throws a big counter combo but Araujo just gets out of the way.

Araujo is looking to clinch but Sanders is avoiding it.

Araujo is rocked!
Sanders connects with an inside leg kick.

Sanders feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Araujo crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
