The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wyte tries to bum rush Kurtzov with a series of wild strikes but Kurtzov uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Kurtzov looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Wyte lands with a straight right. Kurtzov didn't see that one coming.
Kurtzov fails with the takedown.

Kurtzov has managed to clinch.

Kurtzov pulls guard effortlessly.
Kurtzov has a closed guard, preventing Wyte from standing up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kurtzov has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Wyte can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kurtzov is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Wyte defends well.
Wyte is looking to stand up but Kurtzov won't let him.

Kurtzov has his feet on Wyte's thighs here. He's pushed Wyte off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Wyte screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
