The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mal shoots in and drives through. Borzov sprawls well.
Borzov lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Borzov closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Mal is doing well to control the position and prevent Borzov from advancing to side control.
Borzov wants to pass the guard but Mal is defending well.
Mal is trying to control but can't.
Borzov in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Mal tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Borzov!
