The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Stewart Dunkirk and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James blocks a jab.
James dives in for a single leg takedown but Bizihwaeile sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
James uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Bizihwaeile.
James tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Bizihwaeile wants to counter the offense by James and move into the clinch position.
James changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bizihwaeile looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Bizihwaeile really doesn't want to stay on the ground with James. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
James wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Bizihwaeile, who protects the arm well.
James wants to control but Bizihwaeile is keeping him busy.

Bizihwaeile throws an overhand right that lands on James's shoulder, as James tries to avoid the shot.

Bizihwaeile keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

James sets himself, and Bizihwaeile steps forward looking for the clinch! James avoids it this time.
James closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Bizihwaeile did well to prevent James getting side control.
Bizihwaeile scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but James manages to mount him!

James lands a big shot there that rocks Bizihwaeile but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

James is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Bizihwaeile has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Bizihwaeile is trying to reverse the position but instead James has taken his back - oops!
