Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ian Orton (ranked 4882 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Barkebov (ranked 4887 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Igor Prikhodko and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Orton gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Barkebov pulls guard effortlessly.
Orton will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Barkebov is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Barkebov throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Orton 's waist but Orton gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Barkebov off to one side.

Orton tries to score a power double leg takedown but Barkebov sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Orton somewhat.

Orton moves into range and clinches up with Barkebov.
Barkebov is trying to pull guard but Orton turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Orton breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Orton displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Barkebov.
Orton shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Barkebov as he avoids it easily.
Orton shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Barkebov's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Orton is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Barkebov is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
