The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sajid.
El Hassen stuffs the takedown.
Sajid tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but El Hassen swivels and escapes.
El Hassen seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Barir El Hassen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Abdullah Sajid.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Sajid got a little sloppy there for a moment and El Hassen has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Sajid has managed to get both his arms back between El Hassen's legs - danger averted.

Sajid drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Sajid jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

El Hassen has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sajid can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
El Hassen knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sajid on the ground.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sajid drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Sajid as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! El Hassen screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Sajid! Nice submission victory there!
