The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kempton misses with a wild body shot.
Kempton connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Baker momentarily.
Kempton throws a right and a left that Baker avoids nicely.
Kempton shoots in for a takedown but Baker shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

We've been hearing good reports from Baker's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Baker was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

Baker forces Kempton back against the cage and clinches.
Baker wants to take the fight to the mat but Kempton manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Baker has Kempton pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Baker pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Kempton tumbling to the mat - Baker dives into Kempton's guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kempton must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Baker is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.



Kempton throws a left that rocks Baker and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Kempton dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Baker regain composure!

Kempton throws an elbow that misses. Baker uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Kempton's guard. Nice move by Baker!

Baker finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Kempton's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Baker falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:27 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jacob Kempton!
