Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Chosu McGrady (ranked 1498 p4p, 164 weight class) and Tusing Pocc (ranked 1550 p4p, 170 weight class). Chosu McGrady had a look across the ring there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGrady throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Pocc looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Pocc slaps away a takedown attempt from McGrady, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Pocc fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but McGrady avoids it really well and circles away.
Pocc shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts McGrady as he jumps to the side.
McGrady has a takedown stuffed.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Pocc.
Chosu McGrady has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tusing Pocc.
McGrady darts in looking for a takedown but Pocc gets double underhooks and turns McGrady into the ropes.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

McGrady lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
McGrady tries to stand and escape but Pocc is controlling the position.
McGrady has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

McGrady is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Pocc has managed to free his arm - good work.
Pocc is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Pocc is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but McGrady pulls his head out easily.

Horrible takedown attempt by Pocc or perhaps it was just good defense by McGrady, which made it look bad.

McGrady throws a series of strikes that have Pocc backpedaling.
McGrady has been working on his balance at Holding Cell, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Pocc.

Pocc is still on wobbly legs! Can McGrady finish him?
McGrady lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Pocc up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs McGrady from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Pocc's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
