Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Best French (ranked 24746 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mats Sundin (ranked 3325 p4p, 0 weight class). Mats Sundin told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sundin misses with a hook. French ducked under it nicely.
A counter left hand to the body from French misses its target.

Sundin closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sundin is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Sundin is trying to work for a kimura but French is defending well.

Sundin is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Sundin thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed French's head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sundin missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
French won't allow Sundin to pass to mount.
Sundin throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
