Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tony O Rangers (ranked 1134 p4p, 135 weight class) and Seishin Ryoshun (ranked 1927 p4p, 201 weight class). O Rangers comes to the ring accompanied by Helicopter- Bloc Party. Ryoshun has chosen The Strumbellas - Spirits as his entrance music. Tony O Rangers could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Seishin Ryoshun's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ryoshun misses with a straight left.
O Rangers throws a hook but Ryoshun blocks it.
A telegraphed right hand from O Rangers misses the target.

and Ryoshun counters with a straight right hand.
O Rangers lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

It looks like Seishin Ryoshun has been cut.

Ryoshun forces O Rangers back against the ropes and clinches.
Ryoshun scores with a nice hook to the head.
Ryoshun tried to land a shot to the body but connects with O Rangers's elbow.
O Rangers misses with the head strike.
O Rangers wants to take the fight to the mat but Ryoshun manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

O Rangers breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

O Rangers feints and as Ryoshun raises his hands in defense, O Rangers changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Ryoshun darts in and clinches O Rangers up against the ropes.
Ryoshun fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Ryoshun swings wildly with an uppercut but O Rangers uses good head movement to avoid it.

O Rangers shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than O Rangers was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Ryoshun tries to bench press O Rangers off him but O Rangers keeps the position.
O Rangers wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ryoshun keeps working.
Ryoshun is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the ropes but O Rangers has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Ryoshun is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

O Rangers passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Ryoshun!

Ryoshun defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from O Rangers.

O Rangers can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Ryoshun is looking to escape.
Ryoshun is controlling an arm, preventing O Rangers from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.

That was a close second round but I would say that Tony O Rangers will probably get the nod.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

O Rangers lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
O Rangers throws a right and a left that Ryoshun avoids nicely.
Ryoshun blocks a jab.
O Rangers misses with a body shot.
Ryoshun rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but O Rangers moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
An attempted straight right counter from O Rangers misses the target.
O Rangers sizes up Ryoshun with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Ryoshun cracks O Rangers with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Ryoshun goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Ryoshun lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Ryoshun scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

enabling Ryoshun to counter with a crisp jab.
Tony O Rangers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A big left from Ryoshun misses.
Ryoshun is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Ryoshun throws a right and a left that both miss.
O Rangers scores with a sloppy right hand. Ryoshun should have avoided that one.

That has opened up Seishin Ryoshun's cut even more.
Ryoshun leaves O Rangers with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
O Rangers tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ryoshun swivels and escapes.
Ryoshun was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
O Rangers looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tony O Rangers. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Ryoshun uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
O Rangers misses with the combination.
Ryoshun steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from O Rangers.

O Rangers throws a lazy uppercut
and Ryoshun counters with a huge left! O Rangers is in big trouble! He's backing up but Ryoshun isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save O Rangers from any more damage. A dominating finish by Ryoshun!
