The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shaman looks to land a left hand but Rocker moved out of range nicely.
Rocker missing with a left hand there. Shaman was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Rocker shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Shaman has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Rocker can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Shaman is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Shaman is looking for a kimura here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rocker wants to improve his position but Shaman is controlling well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Oh but Rocker is tightening it up a little... Shaman has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Shaman reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Shaman taps out! Nice BJJ there by Rocker!
