Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lazar Markov (ranked 5245 p4p, 441 weight class) and William Scout (ranked 4478 p4p, 425 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scout stalks Markov and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Markov's face. Markov staggers backwards, shaken.
Scout gets caught napping as Markov dives in and scores a takedown. Scout manages to retain guard.
Markov lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Scout is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Markov lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Scout has his foot on Markov's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Markov works his way back into a safe position though.
Markov passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Scout is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Markov off and has taken his back!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Markov is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Scout doesn't have the hooks in and Markov manages to turn into his guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Markov with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Markov postures up and lands a big shot to Scout's brow.

Markov postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Scout covers up, he's hurt! Markov keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Markov and the ref steps in to end the fight! Markov can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lazar Markov!
A very excited looking Lazar Markov made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
